Well Hello There
So, if you need to know my name, then I feel sorry for you. I'm 23 years old and reside in Pittsburgh, PA with my boyfriend of 6 years, Jon, and my wonderful 4 year old son, Tyler. We own 3 cats, whom I also consider my children. I recently graduated from beauty school, and am preparing to start my career. More?

Earn $$$
Who doesn't like easy money? MySurvey.com is a great way to earn a few extra bucks just for expressing your opinion through surveys! Every survey you complete you earn points. These points add up, and can eventually be traded in for cash and other prizes! I've made at least $50 so far, so I can definitely say it is 100% legit! The more money you make depends on how many surveys you complete. You can also earn more points by referring your friends!
TGIF... or Saturday
2774 CommentsI love the weekends. Mostly because I usually have Friday and Saturdays off. I usually work Sunday mornings, so Saturday nights aren't too eventful, but I still like being able to be lazy and catch up on some rest. Friday was payday, and I intended to get some Christmas shopping started, but that didn't exactly happen. I got my dad some stuff for his birthday next week, though. And Tyler and I went to the craft store for some paints and ornaments to decorate for his cousins and my cousins. I usually don't exchange gifts with my cousins but I like to give them a little something just to be nice. I love the holidays, so I'm always inspired to be nice.
So, how amazing was Tuesday night?! I'm so happy Obama won, you have no idea. I don't really affiliate myself with any party, but he was definitely my choice this election. I don't think John McCain was too bad, but Sarah Palin scared the shit out of me. She was a joke, in my opinion. I think she was chosen as his running mate because he felt the need to up his game in the media, especially after how much attention the democratic primary election got with Obama and Clinton being so close in votes. I will say he got the attention by choosing her, but not in the light he was expecting. I just hope Obama keeps his promises and follows the right game plan. Even though it will take a lot longer than most people expect, any step in the right direction is a good one! It is historic having our first black president being elected, but I think the landslide he won by is an even bigger deal. It's been quite a while since Americans truly came together like they did on election night, aside from 9/11 obviously, and that is truly special to me. I find comfort in knowing I'm not the only one concerned and scared about the direction our country and it's economy has taken. Anyway, that's all I can think of right now. On to the Friday 5... and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
1. Could you live without your phone for 1 week for $500? Definitely. I love money, lol. Not to mention I went without my last cell phone for months at a time because it was such a piece of junk! It would be hard going without it, but for one week I could suffer for the money. For sure.
2. Whom do you talk to on the phone the most? It would have to be a tie between Jon and my Dad. Most others I text, usually. I'm so not a fan of talking on the phone!
3. Whom do you no longer talk to on the phone but wish you still did? I guess most of my friends from beauty school last year. I still text a few of them, but that's it.
4. If you could get ahold of one celebrity phone number, whose digits would you want? Britney, Christina, or Angelina Jolie, just because they're my favorites, haha. Oh, and Justin Timberlake, but my boyfriend would get a little upset over all the phone sex I'd be having, lol.
5. Do you talk on the phone more or less than you used to? Less than I did in high school, a lot less. Texting wasn't really big back then yet, either. But I'd have to say more now than the past year or two, just because I finally got a new phone that works. Most of my talking is done through texts, though.

Really Bored...Sooo
0 CommentsInstead of filling out 10,000 similar surveys on myspace and randomly posting them as a bulletin, like the loser that I am, I've decided to try to commit to an every Friday question thing. I'm hoping this will give me more motivation to update more often. Not like it matters, but I enjoy working on my site and I want to remind myself to take the time to that. So, I hope you enjoy and leave your own answers in the comments and/or take this and post it on your own site!
♥What's your favorite holiday...
1. Song?: Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays- NSync (lol yeah!), All I Want For Christmas- Mariah Carey, and as for classics, I guess I like Chesnuts Roasting On An Open Fire, Oh Holy Night, and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
2. Movie or TV special?: As a kid I loved the Eureaka's Castle x-mas special, lol, and now I guess I like anything, as long as Tyler is enthused!
3. Memory?: It would have to be sitting on the top of the stairs with my brothers and my mom on Christmas morning, while waiting for my Dad to make sure everything was set up correctly downstairs by the tree from "santa" lol.
4. Baked good or desert? I guess it would depend lol. But usually cookies, right?
5. Each year, what's the one moment that lets you know it's officially the holiday season? When I was young it was Santa appearing at the end of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. but now I guess Thanksgiving in general starts the x-mas season for me. I won't allow my boyfriend to play any x-mas CDs in the car before that day because it's too damn early! I'm sorry, but I prefer to keep my holidays special by celebrating them only once a year. And by once a year I don't mean between every October through January!

Moving On Up
0 CommentsI have lots of projects to do over the next several weeks. How I'm going to get it done while balancing my work schedule and still maintaining a social life, is another question. I'm moving out of my room into my brother's bedroom. You see, when my parents bought the house, there were 3 bed rooms and 1 master bedroom. My parents divorced, and in 2002 my mom had an addition built onto our house which is now her master bedroom. She also extended our kitchen, knocking out my youngest brother's room, giving him her old master bedroom. I have been living in this room for 22 of the 23 years of my life, and dammit its time for a change. Not to mention, my brother will be at college for most of the next four years, and I'm the only girl living here besides my mother so I need my own bathroom! It's tiny, and only has a standing shower, but still... this is amazing for me. I finally will be able to organize all of my hair products in the bathroom and I really want to make some sort of vanity for my makeup. Having like 5 caboodle train cases just isn't cutting it anymore lol.
Ironically, my local mall has completely shunned the general public that shops there. Friday was Nordstroms' Grand Opening (after 2 years of construction). The whole mall was packed for the event, although I wonder if anyone actually could have afforded any of the shit they're selling there. Over the past year or so, we've also accumulated Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Juicy Couture, True Religion Jeans, Tiffany's.... seriously. I have no idea how long these people expect the stores to last, but no one in this little suburb of Pittsburgh is going to drop $1,000 on a purse. It's nice to look at I guess lol.
Well that's enough random bitching for the night. I'll take pictures as I make my new room!!
